But since it was likely bent from hitting something while moving, then the propper way to straighten it will be to pull it in reverse of the impact direction. I have chained the loader yo a tree and pulled back to accomplish this before. WebMar 3, 2024 · Those buckets are only mild steel so pretty soft and easy to bend. The problem is bending it so only the bent part gets straightened. Just using a jack will not really get it straight as it will bow and bend over a longer distance. It really is a press job, but you need a large press just to fit it in. But will not need much tonnage.

WebJun 29, 2024 · It may have been bent prior, so you may have to fit one side at a time, slightly skew to install, then push forwards to get the other side in, if it is bent and you don't have a fix for the alignment issue.
