Ok so I have a 2001 ford ranger 4x4 3.0 and I have been getting awful fuel mileage, so I replaced the fuel filter cleaned the Maf and ran new spark plug wires and still not doing any better. I get about 30 to a quarter in town driving like a grandma. What can I do different to help me out or I'm selling it for a 2wd. We have a 2013 escape with the 2.0 eco boost, just a 2wd, but our best tank has been about 34mpg and worst 28 npg, usually it averages around 31-32 mpg. quite poor, especially compared to the 42 mpg for highway driving and 37mpg city.
